Abidal: Thank you Barcelona from the bottom of my heart

After his recent release from hospital, Eric Abidal took the time to say thanks via his official Facebook page to all the messages of support he has received. Eric Abidal is at home recovering from his liver transplant of 10th April after he was discharged from hospital on Monday and he used his official Facebook page to thank everyone for all the messages of support that both he and his cousin received whilst he was hospitalized. Abidal has special words of thanks for “all the staff at the Hospital Clinic” as well as the fellow patients he met while he was in hospital, who he told: “I wish all of you and your families the courage you need”.

The French defender also showed his gratitude for the support he received from the Club – from President Sandro Rosell to all of his teammates, the coaching staff, administrative personnel and doctors, as well as thanking the media for their: “understanding and discretion”, which had been very important for him.
Finally, Abidal made special mention of his wife: “who has been by my side every hour and every day”, as well as his family and his in-laws, before explaining that: “now is the time to rest and get my strength back” and that “I will continue to keep in touch with you all and let you know my news”.

FINAL COPA Del REI 2012

On the 25th this month, will play the final of the Copa del Rei between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao. These two teams were the most successful in the Spanish Cup this year. Barcelona lost the game in the semifinal match from Chelsea in the Champions League, also they lost the first place in the Spanish Primavera. After all for Barcelona remains their last attempt for the title this year, the final match against Athletic Bilbao this Friday at the Vicente Calderón.

With Thursday afternoon’s session scheduled for the Camp Nou, this was the squad’s last training at the Ciutat Esportiva before the final. Guardiola again used the four B team players:  Montoya, Bartra, Dos Santos and Tello, also for the first time for this match hi brought in two Youth A players, defenders Sergio Ayala and Brian Olivan.

The last training for the final match is set for thursday at the Camp Nou at 19:00 behind closed doors. Before traveling to Madrid on friday morning Pep Guardiola will hold a press conference at the end of the training session.
There are speculations that he might be back in the team but only as part of the professional headquarters of Barcelona. He is tired of all problems and responsibilities as a head coach, so if he returns, he will be only part of the team but not a head coach.

Drogba potentially in Barcelona next season !

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba (34), whose contract with Chelsea is running out this summer, according to the writings of El Mundo Deportivo, Drogba himself offered to Barcelona, but they refused him.  The player who was most angry on the game of Barcelona last year in the Champions League, this time hi offered himself to this team. After the big game in the grand semifinal in the Champions League between Barcelona and Chelsea, where Drogba was the most influential player and key to its victory against Barcelona, this player wants to become part of their team.

 

My personal opinion for a player like him there is no place in this great team of Barcelona, he can't even handle himself in this team. He is not a player who can play for Barca and contributes for this team. His carrier in Barca can be just like Ibrahimovic, nothing better, nothing longer.

Sometimes these two big names in soccer were respect each other. Today they are the biggest opponent in the game. Like everybody in the world, like every child in the world, when they are young love and respect is in the first place. But when money and fame will take them in their hands everything around them becomes opposite. Today these two people cant stand each other, every game between theirs two teams is battle.
